Mujeeb Faridi is a self-taught musician, writer, and educator from Mumbai who has embraced various roles throughout his musical journey, including working as a DJ, drummer, music composer, music producer, and poet. His versatility truly makes him a 360-degree artist. Today Mujeeb stands proud with an enviable repertoire of 13 releases across 3 Albums. 

Hailing from a very normal and humble family of generational tailors, Mujeeb is the first in his extended family to follow the path of an artist, musician, and poet. His father was his greatest supporter and influence. A man of liberal values he encouraged Mujeeb to pursue his passions even though they looked very different from the things he had known in his own life. Mujeeb fondly remembers him saying "I am happy that you've found your way of life as a full-time musician and poet. Now make sure you stay on that path, come hell or high water."

A true Bombay boy, Mujeeb has spent the majority of his life in the lanes of Bandra’s famous Bazar Road. The city remains a recurring inspiration in his work.
